Day 92--Finished Framing

The framing is finally finished and we're hoping to get the shingles on soon. We've had quite a bit of rain in the last week, which has caused some delays. We've ordered our windows, doors and brick, and our now working on setting up the supportive columns for the screened in porch and deck. As soon as the shingles are finished we will start working on plumbing, HVAC and electrical. Still looking good! You can find a new set of pictures on our yahoo server.

Second Floor is Almost Done!!

Framing is still progressing nicely, the second floor is almost finished. The crew comes back on tuesday, and will hopefully be starting on the roof that day. The footings for the front entryway, the back screened-in porch and deck have been dug up in preparation for the concrete. We'll be calling for an inspection on Monday. The structural steel beams have been installed. Partial backfill has been done, and we are now in the process of ordering windows, doors and brick.
